THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ZLÍN REGION was established in 2000. Members of the association are important businesspeople, personalities of the Zlín Region and legal representatives of important business entities.

THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ZLÍN REGION was established in 2000. Members of the association are important businesspeople, personalities of the Zlín Region and legal representatives of important business entities.
Mission:
Our mission is to help with all activities leading to the development of the Zlín Region, to secure lasting prosperity and improve its position within the Czech
Republic.
Goals of the association according to the rules:
• Solution to the transport infrastructure in the Zlín Region,
• General support for the development of industrial zones in the region,
• To generate conditions for the flow of investment capital into the Zlín Region to support universal business development,
• Gradual and systematic solution of conditions for the advancement of education at all levels in the region,
• Exploitation of resources from EU structural funds,
• Participation in creating strategic regional documents.
The association currently has 26 members, who are the directors or owners of key businesses in the Zlín Region, the Rector of the Tomas Bata University in
Zlín and the Director of the Thomas Bata Foundation.
